Alaska Air Group leaders were busier than they had ever been. Faced with 30% more work during the acquisition and integration of Virgin America, leaders couldn’t carve out time for development. Alaska Air needed a way to remind leaders of best practices, give them tools to connect with their people and inspire them to be out connecting with their employees.
TheTake 10 leadership challenge was launched on July 10th to do just that. A ten-week challenge of leadership activities, distributed via an app on their mobile devices (especially important for a mobile workforce!), provided leaders with development opportunities focused on engaging their employees.
