Jason Maxwell

Director of Compliance, Customer Service and Service Recovery Training

Jason has over 20 years of experience in learning and development, with 15 of those in the commercial airline industry. He started his career in secondary education before transitioning to corporate learning with America West Airlines' in 2002. After the merger with US Airways in 2005, Jason led a variety of learning departments, including both operational and corporate training functions. Jason joined American Airlines in 2013 and currently serves as the director of customer experience training and performance management. In this role, he focuses on finding ways to better align training with corporate goals and improve its effectiveness and impact.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Central Michigan University and a Master of Education degree in Instructional Systems Design from Arizona State University.
